Minister of Finance Ahmed Kouchouk announced the trial launch of the ministry’s new website in Arabic and English as part of a comprehensive programme to strengthen media and digital engagement with citizens and investors.

The programme aims to make financial information and data clearer and more transparent, expand electronic services and facilitate access to them.

The minister said the new website is designed to deliver a simpler, more interactive digital experience. Its modern design reflects the ministry’s visual identity and works seamlessly across smartphones, computers and tablets, with faster performance and enhanced data security.

Financial information is presented in an interactive, easy-to-understand format and made easier to find through search engines, helping to promote transparency and strengthen economic and financial awareness among citizens.

Kouchouk explained that the website connects users to the ministry’s affiliated departments, entities and authorities, supporting more integrated information and services and making them easier to access.

It also provides a platform for direct engagement with citizens and investors, enabling them to submit suggestions, complaints and enquiries and receive responses, improving communication and responsiveness.

The minister added that a new mobile app is being developed to broaden the range of digital services offered by the ministry and make information and services more readily accessible through smartphones.

Additional services will be introduced on the website in the coming period, alongside work to complete accessibility features for persons with disabilities.

Kouchouk said the launch marks an important step in strengthening the ministry’s media and digital engagement and building a more open, interactive approach to institutional communication that puts citizens and investors first.

“We see citizens and investors as true partners. We must continue to improve every service we provide to them, making it simpler and more modern,” he said.

He also stressed the ministry’s commitment to drawing on user feedback during the trial phase to refine the user experience and improve the quality of its services.
